I remember you every day. / Gabrielle Hall (Friend and colleague ) We never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love..

He taught me how to drive (my dad did too) talked to me when i needed someone and was there for me through good and bad times. POCONO was always the best times; up on the camper yelling and having a good time. R.I.P Jeff Olsen..
Good Bye / Tom Hothouse (Brothers of the Badge ) Jeff, You touched many people when you were with us, and each time left a little piece of your self with them which in turn made them a better person for knowing you.
To Jeff's Family and Friends,
No words can reduce or relieve the pain and sorrow you feel from the loss of your Son, Brother, Father or Friend, but may the thought that he has gone to a better place help console you. The place he has gone has no pain, no sadness, or sorrow.
There's an old saying that memories last a life time, and with this in mind;
When you think of Jeff think back to a moment in time when he made you laugh or smile, then hold that moment near and dear. May this memory and the millions like them remind you that Jeff always had the best in mind for you and always wanted to see you smile.

Jeff, it is hard to believe you are no longer with us. You loss was felt in the department as well as the community. My only hope is that i touch as many lives as you did. I know you will watch over us as we continue to watch over the public. And on that day when it is time for us to meet again i know you will be the first one there to escort each of your brothers blue home.

Jeff, You were a good police officer and a great person. We were friends through working together, and I value (and miss) that friendship. I admire your passion - you weren't just making a living, you were helping people who needed you, and protecting all of us. Victims in cases we have had together have called me to express their sadness, and to say how helpful you were, and how much you cared. You touched so many lives. You managed to shrug off the annoying and rediculous people with a short laugh. That laugh helped us all get through. That laugh stays with me. My memories of you make me a better person. I will try harder because of you to not just try to get the bad guys, but to also not lose sight of the people who need our help, and need someone to listen. You are truly a good person. Your loss will be felt by more people than any one of us can imagine. I will miss you. Chad Close

Jeff;
You will be missed by everyone with no doubt. I want to give you a personal thanks for the support you showed me when you found out I was going to go to the academy. You as well as so many of the infamous ALPHA crew have supported me, but you and I were alike in the fact that we have been in the Fire, EMS and Police public service fields. So I want to THANK YOU for your service. Now go rest in Peace and dont worry we take it from here. 555
Jeff's Family;
Although you do not know me I would like to offer my deepest condolences. I am sure you have heard it a million times before but Jeff is the definition of HERO. As we all have Jeff sufferd long nights, cold meals, holidays without family, and so many sacrifices all in the name of the complete stranger. He will never be forgoten by his fello Police officers, Fire Fighters, or EMS workers. PEACE BE WITH YOU in your hour of need.
Jeff was a man that made a difference in many people he touched.He always made people laugh and he knew how to be a great friend and no one in this world will ever take the place of him.I can sit remember all our good times and the bad but he stood by myside when noone else would.He was a hero to my kids and they miss him for always keeping them in line,well most of the time anyway.Well noone knows why jeff only you why you had to go but there isnt a day that goes by that i dont speak your name, and miss you. You were a true friend to me and there isnt very many people who i could just say that a friend. I know you are up there looking down and watching over each and everyone of us!Thank you for touching my life you will never be forgotten.Rest in peace
Whoever established this site I want to express my appreciation to you, thanks. I was on an interstate in Ohio when I first heard from Cpt Parrish what happened. I spoke to several of your brothers immediately the shock, sorrow and emptyness swept through all the lives you touched. The books we read and the peple we meet are what impact each of our lives the most and you did this in a positive way Jeff. Your distinct walk, your distinct voice, your unique noisey and overloaded workbelt but most of all your smile. AED's , workouts in the weightroom, seeing your closest friends and Alpha50 all remind me of you. You were always the first to answer the radio and respond to a call. I wish we could have talked as do so many of us Jeff. I wasn't there for your send off to a better place in person but I was in thought, spirit and prayer. I wish you were here but Christ TOO left earth "to prepare a better place for us and their are many mansions there 1 Th 4:13 " and I know you are guarding heavens gate," where moth, nor rust doth corrupt and where thieves do not break in Matt 6:20" I hope to relieve your shift someday-KEEP YOUR SPIRIT CLOSE TO EACH OF US--NO GOODBYE JUST I WILL "SEE YOU SOON" Harry
Yes/ Keith Brooks
I know you had your reasons to leave as you did, that you considered the consequences and the impact, and traveled what you felt was your path.
I won't ever understand, but then again, I don't need to, and I became used to being puzzled by a lot of things you did!
I always knew that where ever you went, there would a Jeff Olsen sized hole in the wall.
At the end of the day, you are a friend I could count on, a brother that would be sitting next to me in the ER, saying "boy that was fun, let's do it again" and wearing that half a troublemaker grin.
I know I will move on past this, that everyday will get a little bit easier, every week will take a little more off the edge, and I can do that, your friendship made you worth the effort.
This Christmas, someone will go to jail, someone will receive a kindness, and someone will get their head messed with, in your honor, I will make it happen, and I will call these acts, an "Olsen".
Bless you and your children, my friend, and watch over me.
Jeff/ Chris Shelly (Friend/ Co-worker )
Jeff, we will all miss you on the midnight shift. You were a great friend to work with, even when you ran a 10-28 at 4:30am. We will all miss you, the Christmas party nor the midnight shift won't be the same without you. I will keep you and your family and my prayers. May God be with you and may you find peace in heaven brother. Close

If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane, We would walk all the way to Heaven, to bring you home again No farewell words were spoken, no time to say good-bye You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why Our hearts ache in sadness, and secret tears will flow What is meant to lose you, no one will ever know Close
